CCCS of Buffalo, Inc. is approved to issue certificates for pre-file and pre-discharge bankruptcy counseling in all four districts in New York State (Eastern, Northern, Southern, Western)."Approved to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. 2. Check the computer system requirements by clicking the following link before enrolling for the session. Clients will be responsible for fees if system requirements are not compatible.

3. Joint filers must conduct their own individual courses using unique email addresses in order to obtain a certificate.
4. 5. If you need to prepay for the course, please click on and fill out the following form:

6. If you need to request a fee waiver, please review the fee waiver guidelines:

   If you are eligible, please complete the fee waiver form (last page of the document) and return to Bankruptcy Online Department by fax (716-712-2079) or postal service to our West Seneca address.
7. Upon completion of the online course, one of our NFCC Certified Counselors will be REQUIRED to contact you by telephone to review your material within one(1) business day. Our counselor will validate that you have completed all required worksheets and that you have spent the appropriate amount of time on the course material.
8. Note: For Pre-File Counseling clients, please have the following items ready before beginning your session:
• List of household expenses
• Documentation of your monthly income
• Your most recent creditor statements
• Many consumers seeking this counseling have already consulted with an attorney prior to starting this process. If you have done so, please also have available:
• Your attorney’s name
• Your Attorney Firm Code (if your attorney gave you this information)
